<div id="attachment_632" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 310px"><a href="http://www.healthykitchenware.com/healthy_news/2009/07/care-of-your-glass-kitchen-items/2512cup/" rel="attachment wp-att-632"><img src="http://www.healthykitchenware.com/healthy_news/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/2512cup-300x233.jpg" alt="Glass food storage containers." title="2512cup" width="300" height="233" class="size-medium wp-image-632" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Glass food storage containers.</p></div><br />
To take good care of your glass storage containers, bakeware, glasses, etc follow these suggestions:</p>
<p>1.	Avoid impact (yes, that was obvious!).<br />
2. To avoid etching (the whitish film look) avoid soft water,	high water temperature and too much detergent in the dishwasher.<br />
3.	Do not stack glasses.<br />
4.	Clean with non scratch pads and cleaners.<br />
5.	Check for rainbow hue on the glass container because that is the first sign of etching. If this happens go back to #2.<br />
6.	Put less dishes in the dishwasher for more thorough rinsing.<br />
7.	Keep water temperature no higher than 140 degrees.<br />
8.	Avoid picking up glasses in bunches.<br />
9.	Do not place cutlery in glasses.<br />
10.	Avoid temperature changes. </p>
<p>Now enjoy your useful, healthy and pristine glass storage containers!<br />
