What will be next?
Can’t we trust the Swiss anymore? I mean Swiss banks over US banks any day. But eco-chic water bottles? It seems like the SIGG controversy is still alive and well on social networks. I wonder if CEO Steve Wasik has an account on Twitter? Before you go down to the post office to wait in line to send your cute SIGG bottle back, isn’t it odd for a company that prides itself on eco-friendly behavior to start a campaign that discourages reusing old water bottles in favor of manufacturing more?
Also, I think that they are underestimating their consumer’s intelligence by trying to butter them up with some new water bottles. It won’t make the ethical problem go away. That being said, I think I’ll go over to the sink and drink some tap water.
