SIGG Bottles

There’s still a lot of traffic on twitter and other social networking sites about SIGG water bottles containing BPA. Personally, like I stated before in another blog, If I had one of their bottles, I wouldn’t throw it out. They’re really expensive anyway.

I read a good article written by our neighbors to the north about this whole controversy. It seems like SIGG never said that they were BPA free from the get go.

The other day, I was in a Whole Foods Market shopping and I saw SIGG water bottles on display and people buying them.

However, if you are still concerned about your bottle leaching dangerous chemicals, I guess that you could use it for decorations around the house. Maybe put flowers in it? Or, better yet, before you go to the airport next time, fill up your SIGG bottle with some type of liquid. Put it in your carry-on luggage and go through security. They’ll take it off your hands in no time flat!
