Replace your Tupperware

Glass storage containers
It’s interesting to see all of the articles on plastics. Susan Nagel, a professor of obstetrics, gynecology and women’s health at the University of Missouri, has been researching plastics for more than 10 years. Here’s what she recommends you should do about all of the Tupperware, etc tucked away in your kitchen drawers:
As you can, replace plasticware with glass, porcelain or stainless steel. Until then, just be cautious in how you use plastic storage containers. Don’t put plastic in the microwave, ever. Heat can break down plastic so that it leaches chemicals into food.
Healthy Kitchenware offers a number of alternatives for food storage for every budget. Be sure to check out our stainless steel lunch containers and glass storage containers.

I am starting to research about what should I do to put remaining food away to the refrigerator. I had a feeling that plastic tupperware containers are not healthy to use. Therefore, I plan to buy either glassware or stainless steel or whatever is healthy to store food in the refrigerator. Eventually, I plan to get rid of the plastic tupperware containers that I had for many years.
